According to the Book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible, there are specific events that will lead up to Armageddon. Many believe that we humans are experiencing many of the signs that are shown in this book. The growing wars, famine, diseases, and natural disasters are all signs of the end.
The mere rejection of God is a sign. In all of time, Atheism has never been so popular. This book tells us that in the end, we will be increasingly exposed to the differences between good and evil, and will be forced to choose a side. I realize this is a matter of perception, in general. However, those who believe in the Bible know the difference and have made a choice.

The Mayan Calendar Ending
It is common knowledge that the Mayan Calendar will end on December 21, 2012. What exactly does this mean?
Some believe this is the day that life on Earth will end. Some believe this is the day something will change, not necessarily anything negative. Some believe this is a day of celebration. Some believe this means nothing at all.
The Galactic Alignment
Once every 26,000 years the Earth eclipses with the Sun and the exact center (Dark Rift) of the Milky Way Galaxy.
Most Astronomers seem to be in agreement on this matter. If and how it will affect us, here on Earth, is the question.

Conflicting Scientific Information
The Earth’s Poles, Magnetic Fields and Epic Natural Disasters
Although the reversal of the magnetic poles on Earth may be portrayed as a danger, NASA doesn't agree. However, there are other scientists who believe the poles are already beginning to shift. They claim this shift is beginning to cause unnatural occurrences such as birds that are mysteriously dying.
A Peak of Solar Storms and Excessive Radiation Exposure
We are not strangers to solar flares and the havoc they can cause. Disruptions in our communications systems inconvenience us on occasion. However, the Sun has activity seasons and scientists are expecting continuing solar flares growing into storms that will peak this year, 2012. Could it be that we are merely inconvenienced? Or will we be without communication (at a minimum) for several weeks, months, or even years?

A Collision with a Rogue Space Object
There is such an abundance of space particles, space junk, meteors, comets, and such, all moving at indescribable speeds. Scientists cannot possibly keep up with everything that is a potential threat to the Earth. We may or may not see an object headed on a collision course with our planet. We may or may not have time or the ability to do anything about it.
