Basic Traits of a Pisces

Pisces is the twelfth and last sign in the Zodiac. They are actually a combination of all the other signs, making them one of the wisest of all the signs. However, with an influence of Neptune, a co-ruling planet, they tend to be dreamers and escapists. With a daunting imagination, this sun sign fits right in to the artistic world, primarily music. The creativity of a Pisces is endless.

Pisces is also exceptionally benevolent. At the expense of themselves this sign will take on the responsibility of taking care of all others. They are often martyrs for the entire human race. Between the pressure of martyrdom and the influence of Neptune’s escapism, Pisces’ are most likely to use drugs and alcohol for relief. They are not comfortable living in the real world, and generally choose to live in another one. Often, a Pisces prefers to be alone or anti-social just to cope with the world around them; a world they are trapped in.

This is an extremely spiritual sign as well. They are commonly introverted and extremely sensitive. They prefer to avoid conflict since their heightened sensitivity gives their opposition an advantage. Although Pisces is very wise, Pisces is also overly trusting and can be manipulated easily unless other areas in the birth chart counter act this trait. They simply want to live in a utopia, where everyone cohabitates in harmony, and love is the dominant emotion.

Pisces in Love

Pisces does well with a dominant partner to help keep them grounded. This will also assist in freeing them from self pity and martyrdom, bringing out their most creative qualities. As crazy as it sounds, their dominant partner will fuel their ability to become independent. They are the thin skinned sun sign of the Zodiac, and need tough love to learn how to thrive in this world.

The love they have for their partner is endless and a Pisces will gladly and selflessly sacrifice their own happiness for the happiness of their partner. Partially because they are the most intuitive of all the signs, Pisces trusts wholeheartedly. They are one of the most loyal signs.

The female Pisces is usually has a small to medium frame, and always makes her man feel like a man. This is because of her need of leadership and protection. She is the perfect woman if you are looking for femininity, sensitivity, loyalty, and an exceptional potential mother.

The male Pisces is the sensitive man that most women complain about not having. His loving kindness and interest in his mate’s feelings makes him very attractive. However, he needs a strong woman by his side to encourage him and keep him in the real world for he tends to be a day dreamer and often has a hard time focusing.

If you find yourself with a Pisces, tread lightly. These delicate, sensitive creatures are hurt easily and trust completely leaving them vulnerable. Don’t toy with a Pisces. If you are fortunate enough to have one fall in love with you, you have virtually struck gold as they are incredible mates.

All Pisceans Are Not The Same

Of course it is crazy to assume that all Pisceans are exactly alike. We are all individual creatures with unique personalities, priorities, and beliefs. To get a much more accurate idea of someone’s personality, it is best to have a birth chart, also called a natal chart.

The birth chart is a map of the sky, as seen from the exact place of birth at the exact time of birth. This individualizes the person in all areas of life. Yes, they may be born under the sun sign of Pisces however there are many, many influences that can alter their basic personality traits. There are 12 houses, 9-10 astrological planets and various aspects to take into consideration. It is also important to understand one’s moon sign and rising sign to get a better idea of how that person thinks, works, plays, and lives in general.
