Each and every day, Americans become more and more over weight. Obesity has become a horrendous epidemic in this country, and it is not easy to keep it under control. This epidemic is causing major health problems including heart disease and diabetes. It is important to stay fit by being active and eating healthy. With that in mind, we all deserve a little treat now and again. Below is a recipe titled, “3-2-1 cake” to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings without feeling guilty.

Not only is this a low calorie, low fat dessert, it is also low cost. Each serving is less than 40 cents depending on the price of the cake mix and toppings you choose. It is also one of the quickest and easiest recipes around. You will be enjoying your scrumptious treat in less than 2 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Angel Food Cake Mix
  • 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix, or other flavor
  • 1 spray Non-stick Spray
  • Water

It's as Easy as Pie!

You will notice the mixture become frothy when you combine the mix and the water.  The more you stir it, the more frothy it becomes.

Instructions

  1. Combine both cake mixes in a Ziploc bag and shake well
  2. Spray non-stick spray into a 1 cup sized microwavable dish
  3. Combine 3 tablespoons of mix, 2 tablespoons of water in the dish and mix well
  4. Microwave for 1 minute
  5. Let cake cool for 30 seconds, place on serving plate and add toppings of your choice
  6. Enjoy your individual 3-2-1 cake!
